Lakiesha Sullivan was a former wrestler for PCWC (Providence County Wrestling Club). Now she is the first female wrestler from Rhode Island to wrestle at the collegiate level! Congrats Lakiesha RI is proud of you!

  • Rhode Island’s first ever female Fargo All-American! Logan Farnsworth did an incredible job and placed 6th place this year in the women’s cadet division! Congratulations Logan Rhode Island is extremely proud of you!
  • Ben Dougherty is one of the three $500 scholarship winners for this year. Ben will be attending RIT in the Fall and plans to continue his wrestling career there!
  • Tyler Riggs is one of the three $500 scholarship winners for this year. Tyler will be attending WPI in the Fall and plans to continue his wrestling career there!
  • Sean Caltigirone is one of the three $500 scholarship winners for this year. Sean will be attending RIC in the fall and plans to continue his wrestling career there!

Last week (July 12th-19th) Rhode Island sent three of our very own to the USMC Junior and Cadet Nationals. Nia Perez (left; Beat The Streets) had a great performance finishing the tournament with a 2-2 record, Skylah Chakouian (middle; ATC) came incredibly close, losing by 1 pt in the blood round. Logan Farnsworth (right; ATC)  had an incredible tournament finishing 6th place in her division, achieving herself All-American status, the FIRST EVER female in RI to do this! Huge congratulations to you ladies, we are all extremely proud of you!
